I ended up painting all the furniture in the boys room. It got pretty banged up in the move and needed a fresh coat of paint. I painted the wall and made a few throw pillows that matched Lincoln's bedding. I still need to hang some items on the wall but that will come soon. I am also thinking about painting the toy storage bins but still trying to decide what color.

The boys room looks so cute! I love all the colors together and the cute little details with the fabric and the animals on the wall.
I love green and brown! Great choices. I'm impressed you made the pillows--and that you repainted the furniture. You won't regret it, of course, but it's a lot of work that turned out looking great. With the lighting and the colors you have in the boys room now the toy bins don't stick out so much.
